Thiruvananthapuram: Former undersecretary of revenue department, OG Shalini has visited revenue minister K. Rajan requesting to reinstate her good service entry. Revenue principal secretary Jayathilak issued an order nullifying Shalini’s good service entry after she released files related to the tree felling case in response to RTI plea.

She handed over a 4-page letter to the minister detailing her service and the actions taken by her superior officers.

In the letter, she pointed out that the good service entry was given to her without applying for it and the decision to nullify it was taken without seeking an explanation from her.

She also said that the move was a denial of justice. As a female employee, the order disappointed me and hurt my self-esteem, she added.

After examining the letter, the minister forwarded it to the Chief Secretary for further action.

Shalini has also written to the CM seeking intervention in the same.
