Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Police is likely to send another notice to PC George, who is accused in a hate speech. He was summoned earlier to the station on May 29, the last day of the public campaign of Thrikkakara by-election, for questioning but he failed to appear. George had said that the police did not follow due procedures while serving the notice.

The police may not approach the court seeking cancellation of bail citing violation of the conditions set by the high court while granting bail. They reportedly have received legal advice that George has not violated any conditions. The court had directed George to cooperate with the probe and had given bail on that condition.

Police had also gone through the visuals of the speech of PC George in Thrikkakara to check for any kind of breach of bail conditions.

George is charged with multiple sections in the IPC for causing communal disharmony over his speeches in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi. He was arrested by the Thiruvananthapuram police with the lower court here cancelling bail on the case. He secured a bail from HC after spending two nights in the lock-up. George also has an anticipatory bail in the case registered in Kochi.
