Kochi: Actor-producer Vijay Babu was taken to his apartment in Marine Drive here by the Kochi South police for collecting evidence in the sexual harassment case against him.
The police hope to present more evidence against him as it has moved the Supreme Court against the anticipatory bail granted by the HC.
He was earlier taken to the apartment in Kadavanthra as well. Vijay was directed to cooperate with the police and make himself available till July 3 for questioning.
The police are collecting the witness statements, CCTV visuals, tower location details of the mobile phone of the actor to prove his presence in the location on the days the complainant said she was abused.
Police had earlier said that they were convinced that Vijay had committed the crime.
It was by April end an actress in a film produced by Vijay accused him of sexual assault by offering to marry her.
