Kochi: Police have intensified the move to bring actor-producer Vijay Babu to Kerala. He will hopefully be in custody in three days, said city police commissioner CH Nagaraju.
Vijay is accused of sexual harassment by an actor in a film produced by him. He told police that he is on a business tour abroad and cannot appear for interrogation till mid of May. However, the police asked him to return immediately.
The Crime Branch has sought Interpol help to find the address of Vijay in Dubai. CB considers that Vijay is hiding abroad. They also think he may return home on his own following the latest move.
A look out notice has been already issued. He will be taken into custody as soon as he lands in India.
Meanwhile, CB officers said that their investigation showed that Vijay physically harassed the survivor and she sustained injuries.
