Police official caught cheating in LLB exam, suspended

Thiruvananthapuram: A police officer in Circle Inspector rank has been suspended from service over charges of cheating in the LLB examination. Aadarsh, Circle Inspector at Police Training College has been suspended from the service here on Thursday.

The police department took action against him after an inquiry found him guilty.

Aadarsh is an evening batch student at Law Academy in Thiruvananthapuram. The university squad caught Aadarsh after he was found copying during the exam of public international at the Law College.

The state police chief sought a report on the matter. In the report to the DGP, the Police Training College principal KG Johnykutty pointed out that Aadarsh’s behaviour tarnished the image of the police force and identified it as a serious offence.

At the same time, it is alleged that Aadarsh had taken law classes for police trainees while studying LLB.
