The police officers who recorded the statement of survivor of the sexual assault case against actor-producer Vijay Babu asked her to pose for a selfie at the police station, said the actress in an exclusive interview given to mathrubhumi.com.

"I was stunned to hear their request. To confirm, I asked them again if they really asked for a selfie. They said they were fans of my acting and forced me to pose," she said.

The actress, however, said the senior police officers of Thevara station treated her with kindness. The Circle Inspector and Commissioner supported her in the process. However, the lady officers who recorded her statement dealt with her without sympathy. She was forced to describe the incidents in front of the CI. The officer left the cabin after noticing the discomfort of the survivor.

Besides, the doctor who examined her also acted insensitively, the survivor alleged. The doctor's questions made her uncomfortable, she said.

In the interview, she alleged that Vijay Babu offered her Rs 1 crore to compromise the case but she declined it.
