POCSO case victim subjected to abuse for 3rd time in Malappuram

The girl was sexually abused from the age of 13. As the authorities came to know about this, they booked a case and shifted the girl, who was subjected to abuse twice, to Nirbhaya Home.

Malappuram: A minor girl, who is victim of a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case, has been subjected to sexual abuse for the third time here. The 17-year-old girl hailing from Pandikkad was allowed to go with her relatives as per the report of the Child Protection Officer. But the girl was abused again after this.

The girl was sexually abused from the age of 13. As the authorities came to know about this, they booked a case and shifted the girl, who was subjected to abuse twice, to Nirbhaya Home. Later, she was sent with the relatives.

Child Welfare Committee member Shajesh Bhaskar stated that the child was not abused by her relatives. It was the girl’s brother and wife who took her home. He added that they released the child after getting report from the Child Protection Office.
