Sabu
Kottayam: A fast track court in Changanassery here sentenced a POCSO-accused man to a total of 50 years imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs 75,000. The person sentenced is Sabu, a native of Koruthodu.
Judge GP Jayakrishnan delivered the sentence. The fine should be paid to the survivor. The non-payment of the fine will invite another 6 years of imprisonment.
The case was registered in 2018 by Mundakayam Police. Special public prosecutor PS Manoj appeared for the prosecution.
