Sahad
Kaipamangalam (Thrissur): A POCSO case accused, out on bail, killed himself at his residence in Chamakkala. The deceased is Kodungookkaran Sahad (26), who was found dead in his bedroom on Tuesday around 5 pm.
He was arrested by Mathilakam police and was lodged in jail from December 2021 in relation to a POCSO case charged against him.
Sahad was released on bail last month. His suicide note states that he is resorting to the extreme step as he was innocent in the case. Kaipamangalam police inspected the house and carried out further procedures.
