Guruvayur: Prime minister Narendra Modi who visited Kerala’s Guruvayur temple on Saturday had asked for tender coconut water immediately after he left for Sreevatsan Guest house from the Helipad. After offering prayers at the temple, he returned to have a light snacks.
First he had masala chai. Followeing this was Kerala specials Kozhukkatta, Unnakai and Uzhnnu vada. Punjabi samosa, Paneer roll, Rajma Kabab were also offered to him.
It was the tourism department which prepared the food for the prime minister.
PM visited the temple around 10.25 am. Modi, who appeared in the traditional Kerala attire was received with a ‘Poorna Kumbham’ at the temple by the temple priests and devaswom officials.
