PM offered all support for development projects in Kerala, says CM

New Delhi: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan stated that he had a friendly conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that the prime minister supported the development projects of the state and also encouraged the new projects underway. The PM also congratulated the LDF government for retaining power, the chief minister said.

Major development projects like Silver Line project and Semi-High Speed project were brought to the attention of the prime minister. He reacted positively to the schemes and also assured all help for the same. He also inquired about inland water transport, the CM said.

The issues related to Covid resistance were discussed with the prime minister and convinced him on the importance of ensuring sufficient stock of Covid vaccine. Kerala has requested 60 lakh doses of vaccine this month, he said.

The long-time demand for AIIMS in the state and related issues also were brought to the PM’s attention and he reacted positively, the chief minister said in the press meet.
