PK Shyamala not guilty as per available reports: EP Jayarajan
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister E. P. Jayarajan stated in the assembly today that nobody can be counted as guilty in connection with the suicide of expat industrialist Sajan Parayil. Investigation into the suicide of Sajan is going on. As per the reports received so far, Anthoor municipality chairperson P. K. Shyamala has not committed any mistake, the minister said.
Once the complete investigation report comes out, the opposition will have to correct what they have said, the minister said while responding to the questions of the MLAs during the Question Hour in the assembly.
This government will take action only after checking the legal aspects and as per ethics. Nobody will become guilty if he/she has been accused of it as part of political vendetta. The accused should be found out after conducting investigations, the minister said.
Exaggerating isolated incidents will adversely affect the investments in the state. There were no lapses on the part of the government in the Anthoor issue. The government provides all opportunities for the expats to start business here, the minister added.
