Following the completion of the first phase, the scheme will be extended to the panchayats of Balussery and Panangad. A survey for the same is being conducted.
The primary connection charge is Rs 7,118. In this, Rs 6,000 is caution deposit. The payment can be made in instalments. Monthly minimum charge is Rs 75. The rest will be based on usage. Meanwhile, if the facility at the kitchen has to be modified, extra charge will be levied.
