Kalamassery: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is known for keeping promises and will be no different in the case of the SilverLine semi-high-speed rail project, said Communist Party of India (Marxist) Kerala state secretary MV Govindan.
He was speaking as part of the Janakeeya Prathirodha Jadha.
Pinarayi is keen on how to implement the latest scientific discoveries in Kerala. This government will fulfill all the promises it made to the people. It will not take a step back from social security schemes for 62 lakh families, he said.
According to him, the opposition is obstructing the development process. Congress, BJP and Jamaat-e-Islami oppose every development project. Meanwhile, RSS is moving ahead with its Hindu Rashtra project. Govindan said the march is aimed to prevent all these things from happening.
The CPM leader also added that while the union government is adopting businessmen Adani and Ambani, Kerala is adopting 64,000 extremely poor families.
