Pathanamthitta: A PG student from Bangalore alleged that the driver of a KSRTC Super Delux bus behaved inappropriately with her. A complaint was lodged against the driver of Pathanamthitta depot. Based on the complaint, KSRTC launched a vigilance investigation against the driver.

The complainant boarded the KSRTC bus from Kottayam on Friday evening. She alleged that the driver misbehaved with her when she asked his help to open the window. She added that she was unable to react at the time of the incident as the behaviour of the driver startled her. Following this, she sent an e-mail to KSRTC detailing the incident.

Meanwhile, KSRTC driver dismissed the allegations and claimed that the complaint is fabricated. He claimed that he knows the complainant before and there are other reasons to lodge a complaint against him.

"I have been working in KSRTC for the last 14 years. No cases were registered against me during this time. I am ready to face action if any other passengers complain against me. I was not on duty on Saturday morning. The complaint is fabricated," he said.
