Kochi: The National Investigation Agency has revealed more details about the Popular Front of India’s activities before the special court here on Tuesday. NIA informed the court that the PFI operated a special wing to prepare a hit list of people who belonged to other religious communities. The probe team claimed that they obtained more evidence to prove PFI’s global terror links.

It is reported that PFI executed the murders in Alappuzha and Palakkad as per the hit list. Police had obtained evidence regarding this. The secret wing was operated based on the offices of PFI. The activists of the banned outfit engaged in murder and other violence based on the list prepared by this secret wing.

Such hit lists were recovered from the places related to PFI during raids. Following this, CRPF security was given to various leaders.

NIA has been probing the case for the last 3 months. Usually, NIA can demand six months to complete the probe into UAPA cases. Hence, NIA has produced evidence to justify the same. Considering this, the court granted maximum time for the probe team to complete the investigation.
