Kochi: BJP candidate for Thrikkakara bypoll, AN Radhakrishnan, claimed that petrol-LPG price will turn favourable for him. “To know how it will turn favourable for me one should ask the public…Because Kerala government is responsible for this (the price hike)...Pinarayi Vijayan(CM) and KN Balagopal (finance minister) are responsible. When it(auto fuels/LPG) was proposed to be brought under GST, the move was toppled by Vijayan and Mamata (West Bengal CM, Mamata Banerjee). People know that. My people in Thrikkakara are highly educated. They have sense,” he said.
Radhakrishnan was addressing mediapersons here after meeting Syro-Malabar Church head Cardinal Mar George Alencherry as part of his election campaigning.
According to Radhakrishnan, if he gets peoples’ mandate, he would turn Infopark into a world-class hub.
He elaborated about his bond with PM Narendra Modi and praised how the latter stands out among the world leaders. He referred to the happenings in Sri Lanka and US.
Radhakrishnan said that SilverLine project will turn into a ‘Waterloo moment’ for CM Vijayan. While he also claimed that execution of some projects in the constituency would almost become impossible if it was not BJP rule in the Centre.
