Kochi: A petition has been filed in the High Court demanding that Titanium case should be taken up by CBI. The petition was filed by S Jayan, a union leader at Travancore Titanium Products Ltd.
The Department of Personnel and Training has not been ready to take up the case despite recommendation from the state government. This has been questioned by the petitioner.
Although Kerala has requested the center to take over the case, the CBI has not responded yet. The petition demands that CBI should be instructed to complete the investigation in the case as soon as possible.
Several Congress leaders have been accused in the Titanium case. The petition has been filed in HC questioning the CBI’s attitude at a time when the national agency is probing the Life Mission case.
