Ambili and Kittu in search of the stray dogs
Thrissur: Ambili has set out on her bicycle searching for stray dogs she lost during Covid lockdown. In her bicycle ride from Mudikkode to Mannuthy, her pet ‘Kittu’ also accompanies her. Kittu is a dog that belongs to top breed and is well-trained. It was once abandoned by its owner.
Ambili happened to meet Kittu during Covid times. She found kittu while offering food to stray dogs and cats near the Veterinary University in Mannuthy. When the lockdown started, Ambili stopped giving food to them. Yet, she still remembered Kittu.
When Ambili went in search of Kittu near the university, she could not find him. Later, Ambili came to know that he was taken to the university and she was not ready to give up. The university officials had kept Kittu for experimenting pet foods that the university was producing.
However, the university employees gave him to Ambili on realising her affection towards Kittu. Ambili assured proper treatment to her new pet. Now Kittu accompanies Ambili wherever she goes.
Ambili is the daughter of Dr Bhaskaran who was a popular physician in Mannuthy-Mudikkode region. After the demise of her mother Radha, Ambili is alone in her house at Mudikkode. She is a trainer dancer and singer. So, she has a number of disciples too. Ambili also has 3 stray dogs and 15 cats which she got during the Covid times.
