People with no Covid can only enter Kasaragod towns

Kasaragod: The Kasaragod district administration has imposed restrictions on people entering the town in the wake of surging Covid cases in the state. A Covid negative certificate or full vaccination certificate is needed for people to enter Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Neeleshwaram, Cheruvathur, Uppala and Kumbala towns. District collector Dr D Sajithbabu informed that the restriction will come into effect from Saturday.

This regulation has been implemented to prevent large gathering of people in markets and in other places. Police patrolling centres will be present on border areas. Police officials said that people who do not possess the above said certificates will not be allowed into the town and will be sent back.
