Kochi: LDF convener EP Jayarajan said that votes in Thrikkakara by-polls will favour the left front and they don't fear anti-government votes. He claimed that people back the left government. His remark came amidst the Twenty-20-Aam Aadmi Party alliance announcing it will not back any front in the Thrikkakara by-election.
"Aam Aadmi Party came into being to fight the policies and corruption in Congress regime, their nepotism and the poor governance. They came to power in Delhi with a landslide victory against Congress. They did the same in Punjab against the Congress regime," he said.
Jayarajan pointed out that Aam Aadmi Party stands against corruption and its policies are beneficial to people. He added that the left government in Kerala stood with the people and took a stand against corruption.
"Left plays a key role in bringing the people together and maintains the unity and brotherhood of the people. In many states of India, there are communal riots and conflicts. In Kerala, the Left government is standing against such communal forces. That is why the people have a great impression of the government and the left front," Jayarajan added.
