Thrissur: BJP leader and NDA candidate in Kazhakkoottam Sobha Surendran alleged that Bangladesh citizens cast vote in Kerala assembly election.

The people from Bangladesh were given ration cards and voters ID card in a single day and allowed them to cast vote. After this, they are now being sent back to Bengal and Bangladesh in vehicles in the name of Covid transmission, she alleged.

Such persons were taken back to their native places in over 20 buses from Muvattupuzha in the last two days, Sobha Surendran said. She further stated that she has forwarded a letter to union home minister Amit Shah in this regard. She levelled the allegation through a Facebook post.
