Kozhikode: Union Minister of State for External Affairs, V. Muraleedharan said that the people of Kerala have not given a clean chit to the LDF government through the LSG poll results.

There is no link between elections and the investigation agencies. It is not right to claim that the people have completely dismissed the investigation by central agencies. If the LSG poll results are viewed as a clean chit, the LDF should have relinquished power after the Lok Sabha elections, he said.

The LSG poll results are favourable for the BJP. Both the Muslim League and Congress supported CPI (M). That’s why they were able to stay in power.

Earlier itself, the BJP had said that Muslim League was leading UDF. Congress is becoming obsolete in Kerala, the Union Minister added.
