Police book PC George over defamatory remarks against Veena George

PC George

Thiruvananthapuram: A case has been registered against former MLA and Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) leader, PC George, over his defamatory remarks against Health Minister Veena George. Ernakulam North police have booked George over a complaint filed by a high court advocate BH Mansoor.

He was booked under section 509 of IPC for defaming womanhood and insulting through social media. George known for his regressive statements has landed in yet another controversy for his remarks against Veena. He made these remarks while giving an interview to crime Nandakumar on the surge in Covid-19 cases in Kerala.
