Cases were filed against the migrant labourers for violating the lockdown after they staged a protest on Sunday by 11 am.

Police and authorities believe that that such a large number of migrants could not have gathered together in a short time without proper planning. They are also investigating the role of extremists groups behind the protest.

Meanwhile, police are observing the area as there are chances that such protests can take place again.
