Sudheer, who was undergoing treatment in the neurosurgery ward allegedly assaulted Dr. Santhosh and Dr. Shivajyoti during his treatment. He was apprehended by the police on Wednesday evening.

However, concerns have been raised regarding the denial of natural justice to Sudheer, who was arrested upon his arrival at the hospital for surgery. Sudheer claims that he was attacked within the hospital premises, and his mother also alleges that her son was not provided proper treatment and that the doctor initiated the attack.

This incident marks the first case registered at the Medical College Station under the ordinance enacted to protect healthcare workers. There are also allegations that the updated Act was misused in filing the case against Sudheer.
