Pathanamthitta: Police have arrested two men who are accused of attacking a child and her father. Ranjith and Sreejith, allegedly attacked Aji and his 13-year-old daughter, who were travelling on a bike.
On Sunday, all four were travelling on two bikes in the same direction. The quarrel was started after the kid’s leg hit a bird’s nest that Ranjith and Sreejith were carrying.
A verbal argument took place between them following the incident. The Kunnicode natives allegedly followed Aji and his daughter on their bike and attacked them. Aji is a resident of Koodal.
According to the police, the brothers were inebriated at the time. The brothers recently started living in a rented house in Koodal, police said.
