Pathanamthitta cop found hanging at his house; family says he had 'work pressure'

Pathanamthitta: Aneesh, a civil police officer in Perumpetty station, hailing from Pravinkoodu here was found hanging at his residence on Saturday.

Aneesh who returned from duty on Saturday morning had reportedly informed his mother about the work pressure he undergoes. Following the conversation with his mother, he went to his room. He was found hanging inside the room when his mother reached there in search of him. The mother who got shocked alerted the neighbours. They rushed in and took him to the hospital. However, he breathed his last.

It is learnt that earlier too, Aneesh had shared about his work pressure with his friends and family members. While some say, three days ago he had approached a doctor over the mental stress. Meanwhile, police have not yet recovered any suicide note or anything relevant from the scene.
