Peerumedu: Peerumedu native Papa Henry claimed that she is ready to work anywhere in Kerala to treat COVID-19 patients. She is one of the frontline health workers of Kerala in its fight to contain the spread of the pandemic in the state.

She has become a social media star after receiving praise from Chief Minister and Health Minister. She expressed her willingness in the video conference held with the health minister KK Shailaja. She said that since there are no more COVID-19 patients in Kottayam Medical College, she, along with other medical staffs, were ready to work anywhere else in the state.

Papa Henry has been working in Kottayam Medical College since 2017. She was part of the 20 member team which was deployed in the isolation ward at Kottayam Medical College hospital. After her service, she was under observation in her home.

She has also worked in Thrissur Medical College, Peerumedu Taluk Hospital, Vandiperiyar primary health centre among others. Her husband Henry is a driver in Peerumedu police station.
