Sannidhanam: Pandalam Palace representative Sasikumara Varma said they are ready for any kind of discussions on the Sabarimala issue with the government. He hopes all issues relating to the temple be resolved in a peaceful manner and the government’s move of handing over the list to the court stating 51 women had darshan is like inviting more trouble. He was speaking to the media after the rituals for closing the temple was completed.
The Sabarimala nada was closed on Sunday morning at 6.30 after concluding the Makaravilakku pilgrimage season. Darshan of the Lord was allowed on Sunday morning only for the Pandalam Palace representatives. After the Pandalam representatives offered darshan, the chief priest locked the temple and handed over the keys to the Devaswom Board members.
