Palarivattom flyover scam: Vigilance to question Ebrahim Kunju on Saturday

Last week, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan had granted permission to question Ebrahim Kunju. The vigilance has completed inspection of various documents in connection with the case.

Kochi: Vigilance will question former PWD minister V. K. Ebrahim Kunju in connection with the Palarivattom flyover scam.

The vigilance department has issued a notice to Ebrahim Kunju directing him to appear for questioning on Saturday. Ebrahim Kunju will be questioned at the Vigilance Special Investigation Team - 1 at Poojapura in Thiruvananthapuram from 11 am.

Last week, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan had granted permission to question Ebrahim Kunju. The vigilance has completed inspection of various documents in connection with the case.

It was four months ago that the vigilance had sought permission from the Governor to question Ebrahim Kunju. Vigilance DySP Shyam Kumar is in charge of the investigation. Based on the questioning, the vigilance will decide on arresting the former minister.
