Palakkad youth jumps to death from building in Thrissur


Palakkad: A 17-year-old boy who went missing from Palakkad's Pezhumkara died by jumping off the top floor of a building in Thrissur on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Anas.

Anas left home on Tuesday informing the family that he was heading to work place. However, he never returned. Following this, the family lodged a complaint before the police, and a probe was launched.

On Wednesday, the family received news that Anas was found in Chavakkad. Based on the information, police searched the place but couldn't find him.

In the wee hours of Thursday, police received information that Anas died after jumping from a six-floor building in Thrissur. However, the police are yet to discover the motive behind his action.
