Palakkad: A woman gave birth to her child on an auto rickshaw en route to the hospital. The mother and the child are safe and under observation at Mannarkkad Taluk Hospital.
The incident happened on Sunday morning. The woman, along with her husband, was travelling to the hospital in the auto rickshaw after experiencing labour pain. However, they could not make it to the hospital. The woman delivered inside the auto rickshaw.
Her delivery was set for February 28.
