Pala seat belongs to NCP, no other parties have demanded it, says Peethambaran
Kochi: NCP state president TP Peethambaran said that there is no dispute over Pala seat and four seats, including Pala, belong to his party. He also pointed out that nobody has demanded him to hand over Pala seat.
NCP had repeated their stand hours before convening the leadership meeting on Friday. NCP has summoned the meeting to discuss matters including Jose K Mani’s entry into LDF.
“There is no split within the party. NCP will contest in the four seats including Pala. LDF did not recommend anything on Pala seat. We don’t expect that anyone will demand us to change the seats. So far, we did not discuss the matter with anyone,” clarified Peethambaran.
At the same time, he pointed out that he has no idea if LDF had promised Jose K Mani faction of the Pala seat.
Responding to MM Hassan’s statement on Mani C Kappan’s meeting with UDF, Peethambaran added that Mani C Kappan has already given explanation on that.
