Malappuram: A four-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after a pack of stray dogs attacked him while playing in front of his house on Friday morning. The injured is identified as Riswan, son of Rasheed and Rasiya.
It is learnt that a pack of six dogs mauled Riswan, leaving deep wounds on his head and body. After hearing his screams, his father and brother rushed to the scene and rescued him.
The child was later shifted to Kozhikode Medical College and is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit. Locals complained of stray dog menace in the area.
