Over 25 pc of population administrated with first dose of COVID vaccine: CM
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has informed that over 25 percent of Kerala’s population has received the first dose of COVID vaccine. He was addressing the media here on Friday.
The CM also pointed out that the available stock of vaccine will last for one or two days. He added that the state government is expecting vaccine supply from the centre.
“Directions were given to give available stock to the maximum number of people. It is also decided that those who received two doses of vaccine will not be asked to submit vaccination certificate while travelling,” informed the CM.
The health care system in Kerala is functioning in the best manner. Janaki Amma, a 104-year old woman who was under treatment for COVID-19 at Pariyaram medical college has recovered from the disease. Her recovery proves that we have got an efficient public health care system, he added.
