Tripunithura: Orator Dr N Gopalakrishnan passed away after collapsing at his residence on Thursday. He was 68. The cremation was held at Tulu Brahmin Samaj Crematorium in Tripunithura.
Dr N Gopalakrishnan was the founder of the Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage. His lectures on Indian philosophies and spirituality attracted audiences from within and outside the country. He was often criticised for propagating "pseudoscience."
Gopalakrishnan completed MSc in Chemistry, MA in Sociology and Ph.D in Biochemistry.
He was born to late Narayanan Embranthiri and Sathyabhama at Kuzhuppilly in Tripunithura. Wife: Late Rugmini, children: Harish, Hema.
