Minister Mohammed Riyas

Kozhikode: "Ever since LDF’s second term in Kerala, the opposition parties have been hatching plans to overthrow the Pinarayi government," says Public Works Department and Tourism Minister Mohammed Riyas.

Talking to the media, he accused BJP and Congress of plotting a master plan to disrupt the smooth governance.

“The Central government led by BJP has been persistent in their efforts to destabilize the LDF government in Kerala. The ‘left alternative’ is giving their leaders sleepless nights. Sadly a few Congress leaders from the state, out of frustration, are allying with Sangh forces to malign the Pinarayi government,” said the minister.

“In their efforts to show the government in a bad light, the opposition is hindering the developmental and welfare activities being carried out in the state,” alleged the minister.

“By politicising tragic accidents and murders, the Opposition is stooping to new low,” he said.

He said that Kerala is a role model to the entire country. Citing the tremendous improvements in the health and education sector under the Pinarayi rule, the Minister said that the ‘state’ of Kerala is better than any region under BJP rule.
