Opposition resolution to recall Kerala Governor: Decision on Friday
Thiruvananthapuram: A decision regarding the resolution moved by the Opposition seeking the central government to recall Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan will be taken on Friday.
The advisory committee of Kerala Assembly is scheduled to meet on Friday. The meeting will decide if the resolution should be passed or not.
Earlier, Speaker P. Sreeramakrishnan had clarified that the resolution moved by the Leader of Opposition Ramesh Chennithala was legally valid.
According to rule 134 of the Assembly, the speaker can decide whether to allow or disallow the resolution.
The Speaker is likely to take a decision in this regard after a meeting with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
