Thiruvananthapuram: As many as 15 persons were booked for circulating nude photos and pornographic content of children all over the state. The accused were nabbed under Operation P Hunt, which is a drive against online child sex offenders in Kerala.

Over 279 electronic equipment, including mobile phones, modems, hard disks, memory cards, laptops and computers were seized in the raids.

The raids were conducted under the Cyberdome nodal officer P Prakash. After surveilling 656 suspected centres, 280 teams were formed under district police chiefs for the inspections. A total of 67 cases were registered. Five years of imprisonment and Rs 10 lakh fine could be sentenced for similar crimes, said P Prakash.
