Alex V Chandy, Oommen Chandy
Kottayam: Alex V Chandy, the brother of former chief minister Oommen Chandy, has again claimed that his brother is still denied proper "scientific" medical care. In a letter written to the Kerala health minister, Alex requested the medical board constituted by the government earlier to review the condition of Chandy, who is currently in Bengaluru for treatment.
Chandy has been admitted to HCG Hospital in Bengaluru after being diagnosed with throat cancer. The state government took the initiative and shifted Chandy to Bengaluru after Alex publicly stated that his brother had been denied expert treatment by those close to him.

In the letter, Alex also wanted the Chief Minister and Health Minister to be informed daily about his brother's health condition.
It is alleged that Oommen Chandy is not getting scientific and adequate treatment due to the views of her close relatives.
Alex also wanted other family members to be timely informed about Chandy's health conditions.
