Pathanamthitta: The car in which Congress leader Oommen Chandy was travelling met with an accident at Vadakkedathu Kavu in Enathu here.
The mishap took place while Oommen Chandy was travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kottayam.
A car happened to ram into the vehicle in which Oommen Chandy was travelling. Nobody was injured in the accident.
The car that was coming in the opposite direction had a locked steering wheel and this resulted in the crash.
Later, Oommen Chandy continued his journey in the car owned by Chengannur municipality that was coming that way.
