Thiruvananthapuram: Congress veteran Oommen Chandy has returned to Kerala following treatment in Germany. He reached Thiruvananthapuram on Friday 3 am by Qatar Airways. The doctors have directed to continue expert treatment following the laser surgery carried out in Germany. However, no decision has been taken over where to proceed for the treatment.
After reaching Kerala, Oommen Chandy was taken to his ‘Puthuppally House’ in Thiruvananthapuram. Though his health has improved, doctors have advised to avoid visitors. CPM state secretary MV Govindan visited Oommen Chandy at his residence.
