Offensive remarks: Jazla Madassery to move legally against Firoz Kunnamparambil
Thiruvananthapuram: Activist Jazla Madassery stated that she will seek legal action against social worker Firoz Kunnamparambil who disgraced her through Facebook. Jazla said in this regard in a video posted on Facebook. She said that a self-proclaimed charity worker, Firoz insulted women including herself who raise their voices.
Earlier, Jazla had criticised Firoz Kunnamparambil for requesting votes on behalf of UDF candidate in Manjeshwaram despite his claims of having no political connections. She lashed out at Firoz for posting a picture of him with UDF candidate in Manjeshwaram.
Shortly after this, Firoz posted a video on his Facebook page humiliating Jazla in response to her allegations. He stated without mentioning anyone’s name that the woman who criticised him is a prostitute who sells her body to others. He also claimed that he has nothing to lose just because somebody put up a FB post.
Responding to this, Jazla asked in the video she posted whether prostitutes have no right to criticise anyone. She added that a group of women are planning to move legally against him for his anti-woman remarks and that he will have to undergo strict auditing.
