Kochi: The nun who alleged Jalandhar bishop Franco Mulakkal of sexual abuse, has written a letter to the Vatican demanding immediate action in the case. The letter was submitted to the Apostolic Nuncio of India, an Ambassador to the Pope, and 21 persons related to the church.

The nun pointed out in the letter that bishop Franco has been approaching many other nuns in Missionaries of Jesus with a bad motive. Many nuns have given complaints about bishop. But, the compalinants were transferred to other states by the bishop as a punishment. 20 nuns have left Missionaries of Jesus within 5 years due to the issues with bishop.

The nun alleged that bishop Franco has influenced top police officers and government using political power and money. Nun wrote that she has been considering the church as her mother, but her experience proved it wrong. She complained that the church was supporting the bishop and not the nuns.
