NSS should review its stand: Kodiyeri
Kozhikode: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the NSS (Nair Service Society) should not prioritise the religious sentiments. NSS general secretary G. Sukumaran Nair should review their own stand against the government. He also added that the BJP’s threat to sabotage the government will not exist.
"NSS should work upholding progressive values. Their present stand deviated from its stand in the past. I don’t think that NSS will make any connection with RSS. If it happens, it is likely to end up as a tragedy. RSS will consume the NSS sub committees, just as what happened to the SNDP," Kodiyeri opined.
CPM is not scared of Amit Shah. The government of Kerala was not appointed under his mercy. So, we are not paying heed to Amit Shah’s threat, Kodiyeri said. Amit Shah had said the other day that they will sabotage the government if they suppress the devotees.
