Changanessery: NSS has severely criticized the chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and CPI state secretary Kanam Rajendran over change of stance regarding Sabarimala women entry.
The present change in their stance is only to fool the devotees, said NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair in a statement.
“The CM who had said that the government has no option but to implement the Supreme Court verdict, now says if devotees find any difficulties with the final verdict, talks will be held with everyone concerned before implementing it. But the statement made by their national general secretary, the other day, was against this stance,” he said.
Sukumaran Nair also hit out against Kanam Rajendran who had alleged that NSS is blaming the government after it faced setback in the case pertaining to Sabarimala women entry.
“Kanam is trying to safeguard the government, but in vain. His request to wait until the SC final verdict itself proves the case is still under consideration,” Sukumaran Nair further added.
