Now, Swapna wants to meet PM Modi in person, CBI inquiry into gold smuggling case

Palakkad: Swapna Suresh has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting his intervention in the controversial gold smuggling case. She wants to meet the PM in person and also a CBI inquiry into the case.

She alleged that Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his family and Sivasankar IAS played key parts in the 2020 case of smuggling through the diplomatic channel. Therefore, she requested a CBI investigation into the case. Additionally, she also sought permission to meet PM in person.

She claimed that the gold smuggling case involved larger financial transactions than Bofors, SNC-Lavalin, or even the 2G spectrum cases. She also addressed Sivasankar as the main conspirator of the case.

She alleged that her life is under threat after giving a confidential statement before the court.

Meanwhile, Enforcement Directorate will question Swapna concerning her confidential statement and recent allegations.
