Thiruvananthapuram: Shashi Tharoor MP here on Thursday said that he is not in a hurry to become the chief minister of Kerala and is ready for anything.

Speaking to media persons here, Tharoor said 'Think tomorrow, Think Tharoor’ was his campaign tagline during the Congress President polls. “I am thinking about that tomorrow even now,” he said.

“Everyday, I am meeting with not only political leaders and community leaders but also the office bearers of various NGOs and associations. However, only my visits to political and community leaders are being discussed,” Tharoor said.

“If someone wants to see me, then I never excuse them saying I don’t have time. I see Kerala as my Karmabhoomi,” he added.

When asked about whether he was interested in becoming the chief minister of Kerala, Tharoor said, “I can’t say I am not interested. We have to wait till 2026. Now, we have a chief minister who has a majority. So, let’s wait for three years.”

“The party and people will decide everything. I am ready for anything,” he added.
