Thiruvananthapuram: Minister K T Jaleel said he is fully aware that he has not committed even a minor mistake and he will go forward without fearing anyone.
The minister came up with the explanation when state-wide protests by opposition parties are going on demanding his resignation after he was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and National Investigation Agency (NIA).
In a statement posted in Facebook, the minister said that a public servant who does not own a vehicle or even a gram of gold need not fear anyone except the Almighty. He added that the opposing forces may be able to kill him, but not defeat him.
He also stated that the NIA summoned him as per CrPC 160 to record his statement as a witness. But some people have misinterpreted this. Those who initiated fake campaigns changed their stance after the copy of the notice came to light, he said.
